New News - Weird
Indian authorities recently released a pigeon that had been held captive for eight months, after police suspected it was coming to the country for the purpose of spying.
The strange story began when the police arrested the pigeon last May near a port in Mumbai, where it was noticed that there were two rings on its legs, and a message written in Chinese. She was kept at Bai Sakarbai Dinshu Beti Animal Hospital in Mumbai.
According to what was reported by the “Press Trust of India” agency, it was later found that the pigeon was a racing bird in Taiwan, and had lost its way to India, prompting the police to transfer it to the “Bombay Animal Welfare Society“, in preparation for its release.
