Anthropic, a startup backed by Google and Amazon, announced the launch of its third series of artificial intelligence models known as Claude 3, in the latest round of a near-constant competition in Silicon Valley to produce more efficient technology.

Anthropic, which specializes in artificial intelligence systems research and security, stated that all models of the Claude 3 family set new standards for delivering a wide range of cognitive tasks, as the family includes three modern models in ascending order of their capabilities: Claude 3 Haiku, Claude 3 Sonet, And Claude 3 Opus.
The Opus Cloud 3 chatbot is considered the most advanced version in the new series, as it has proven its superiority in many standard tests over the two competing models (Chat GPT 4) developed by OpenAI and Gemini, created by Google.
According to Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei, the new series of AI models can perform more cognitively complex tasks such as handling complex financial analysis with high accuracy.
Does Claude 3 Outperform the World’s Masters of Artificial Intelligence Technology Applications In, Such as Chat GPT?
Cloud 3 is considered a continuation of the company’s ongoing efforts in the field of developing artificial intelligence tools. The company had previously released the Cloud 2 series last July.
Since the appearance of Cloud 2 on the scene, questions have arisen about its ability to compete with the giant Chat GPT, which is owned by OpenAI, an AI research company.
Several technology experts in the world believe that Cloud 3 has more features than Chat GPT, such as the ability to process files, update data, and summarize the content of links. In addition to Cloud 3’s ability to perform complex mathematical tasks and build highly advanced code.
However, this last feature is considered by many to be a double-edged sword, as it raises concerns about accuracy and potential copyright issues.
Claude From Anthropic is a Multimodal AI Model
Anthropic also said that Cloud 3 is its first “multi-modal” AI series, meaning that – like some other competing models – the model can respond to text and image queries, for example analyzing an image or a table.
She added that Cloud 3 scans images, but does not produce them, due to the decline in demand for this service from institutions.
Anthropic said that the Cloud 3 series will be available through Amazon and Google cloud platforms, adding that it will also provide direct access in 159 countries.
